I just called in to add a lap infant to a US->Europe award ticket in Premium Select. The agent insisted there is no charge for this. The infant even has a ticket number, but the receipt shows $0.00. I pressed saying I usually have to pay for this and she insisted that everything was all set and we will have no problem flying. This does not seem right to me. Does anyone have recent experience with this?
I really don't feel like having to call again and waste my time fixing their mistake, but I also don't want to get stuck at the counter as a family of five sorting this out on departure day.
