So it seems with UK removing the need for a PLF for AIRSIDE transit (this just was confirmed in this article
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavi...hrough-england - but beware, airlines may NOT yet be setup for this) - those doing a 2 ticket connection (e.g. flying AA to LHR and on a separate ticket not in the same booking will STILL need to choose a Trip to the UK and choose a AIRSIDE TRANSIT (or if that gets removed LANDSIDE TRANSIT) and do the PLF - to satisfy Verifly). Checked today for a co-worker and he had to do this for an airside transit to get Verifly to green check and OLCI to work. This person WILL remain airside but this was the only way to get checked in and use Verifly.
Since you will NOT pass through the border with Border Force, the use of the PLF is SOLELY to satisfy Verify + AA - you will not once in the UK present the PLF to anyone as you are an airside transit
Just beware on this until we see Verifly and AA acknowledge offline connections/transit if at all.
