This happened to me back in May. I was flying FRA to SFO. My boyfriend kept insisting on upgrading me but it was not even Polaris and the back was empty. I ended up with no one in my row (all the way across) and no one in 3 rows behind and ahead of me. I could not see anyone. It was awesome. I also recently tool an LAS to SFO flight and only three of us on the plane. I was the only revenue passenger. Same happened after 9/11. I flew to Asia (forget city) on a 747 and was upstairs and only two other people. To me not having people near by is so much more important than the actual seat.
