If you have a 5 nights stay booked, do you get the credit applied daily, so you could use it all at once on the last day, or is it per day, use it or lose it.
Personally, I am Marriott platinum and Hilton diamond, and have switched all travel to Marriott as you still get lounge access and breakfast in restaurant if no lounge.
If they really meant choice, instead of degarding Diamond status, they would offer the choice of $ amount or restaurant, but I think they already did that, so choice is bs.
