I've had recent AF flights on both the 777 (not sure if it was 772 or 773) and the A350. Even though the herringbone seats on the 777 aren't shiny and new, I def liked them better than the seats on the A350. However, if taking the A350, the single seats closest to the window are the best. I selected the aisle and it wasn't nearly as private.

Note that substitutions happen. My MIA-CDG was scheduled with an A350 but a 777 was subbed.
