I stayed there pre-pandemic and agree with your review. (Yes, it was the Hyatt House and not the Hyatt Place.)
For what it's worth, I was also scheduled to stay there on the first week it was to have opened. The opening was delayed and I was rebooked at the Hyatt Place at no extra charge. This is as it should be, and given the threads in the Hilton forum about hotels cancelling reservations, it seemed to be worth a mention.
