I only flew the A359 once so I can’t really give a detailed comparison as I didn’t sleep on that flight. It looked cleaner for sure, the 777s are looking a bit long in the tooth
The seats on the BEST-equipped 777s are the same as far as I can tell. None have larger footwells, etc.
Let us know how Virgin upperclass is. I’m flying it for the first time in June with my wife and am looking forward to it.
For sure will report back but its not until April.. A359 does look very nice and clean. I'm 155 lbs and find that narrow to get into but its not a big deal. I really dont like how the seat behind you isnt really behind you, its quite close to you, like next to you. Sort of reminds me of Apex which I absolutely hate. Just love normal staggered forward facing or RH seats. I've heard some of their 777's look outdated and that worries me too. Sitting behind LP may drive me nuts too. I think I just go for the best situated flight and not let aircraft come into play on this one.
