How would you rank Westjet Platinum perks?

How is WJ Platinum Elite status valuable to you?

For me, chasing elite status in the past is all about sitting up front and getting more miles. Previously I would chase status as that generally meant sitting up front.
Because of Covid, I am not flying internationally, my credit card got me almost to gold ($4500) and have now ended up getting Platinum with Westjet.

In most programs, 1-2 years of flying at top tier status earns a free ticket to Europe in business class. I figure it will take me 7-8 years of platinum to earn ONE business class ticket to Europe. (Yikes so I guess the Westjet Dollars doesn’t make much sense at 8% return for 7-8 years $5000-6500 ticket)
Ok so then I get thinking about upgrade certificates (OK none with Westjet) but there are free upgrades. Great unlimited and you don’t have to book the highest fare class within Canada to get those. Great. (Disappointed to learn none to Europe)
However reading the forums I don’t see the upgrades as the best perk.
Which leads me to lounges. Great lounge in Calgary! Variety of other lounges in Canada great perk as well. So is that the best perk? I do have Priority pass, but still like this perk.
Companion Vouchers – maybe this is the best perk. I get one with the credit card but they are much more expensive ($400 for companion except $120 within Canada) So I like this for at least $400.
Same day flight change – I like this one too but usually fly with the wife so not sure if I will use that.
Seat vouchers – hopefully I am sitting up front always so I don’t value this one so much especially as I am used to elite status giving me unlimited coach seating.
Bags – I rarely check a bag, and I think my credit card already gives me this.

My list then:
  1. Companion Certificates
  2. Lounge access
  3. Unlimited Upgrades (except to Europer)
  4. Free same day standby
  5. Seat selection vouchers
  6. Bags
How does that compare to your list? Am I missing anything. I didn't put call center phone line that can be answered in an hour or less as that should be a standard customer service with any airline.
