Since I'm starting at LAX and connecting in SEA - imagine I might need to show my docs at checkin there too?
I checked in at an AS counter for a feeder flight for a BA international flight. The doc check (VeriFLY or paper) was at the BA gate at SEA.

Similar experience with an AS feeder flight connecting to an AS flight to Hawaii to get the wristbands.
