I just had to cancel a trip next week during which I was going to use my 2 Chase free night certificates that are expiring at the end of the year. I naturally don't want these to expire unused (and I am not convinced that IHG is going to extend them) so I need to figure out where to use them in the next 6 weeks. Normally my go to would be a weekend in NYC to shop and have a nice dinner since it is close by. Sadly there is nothing available on the 2 weekends I can go in NYC so further research has lead me to a possible weekend trip to Boston or Philly. My options are the Kimpton Nine Zero in Boston or the Palomar in Philly. Which would you pick? Why? Both hotels seem to get good reviews and I am leaning a bit more towards Boston but just not sure.
