My cable tv company has better customer service than Hertz
Well according to my Hertz rep Puerto Rico is an international location and I should call the international hotline instead, so you know what you're working with...
At my company we had a contract with National Car for many years before they switched to Hertz 2 years ago. From the employee perspective National was loved by everyone. Hertz is generally hated.
With National free days you earn are usable any time any day, no questions asked. No blackout days, no double price for one ways, no availability issues. Just generally no BS.
Even tax you pay after a free day was lower compared to what you see with Hertz. Save for a few standout locations (SLC National I remember was atrocious), even the car selection was much nicer (higher trims).
With Hertz I find it so hard to use the points. Every time I want to travel the pickup location happens to be on blackout days or no availability because that's how the "calendar" is set.
