We did. We've always had good experiences flying from CBX. Not so much this time. We were told that because the border was opened earlier this month, they have really been jammed. Allow extra time to get thru immigration both outbound and return should you do this. We flew AeroMexico via Mexico City but there is a nonstop flight on Volaris.
Interesting. We just flew Volaris yesterday to SJD and it wasn’t bad at all. It was our first time using CBX. The fares were much cheaper than flying out of SAN this time of year. Loved landing in SJD and just walking out the door. Even the timeshare sharks were less aggressive.
