As an update the process took about 6 to 8 weeks and I had to supply all kinds of proof including a signed statement, copies of my friends passport, a letter written by my friend, etc. Really obnoxious. At the end of it they finally released my account so I could use it again but I really felt this was insanity. I’ve had my account for more than a decade.
