i have a trip in January that was impacted by the schedule change. I've already received the cancellation notification for the AA numbers flights, but not yet for the flights on BA codeshares. I'm expecting the cancellation emails to arrive in a couple of days.
On a trip next week I was booked on AA using a BA flight number. Last week the flight was cancelled/retimed by 5 minutes by AA and lost the codeshare, so the system moved me to the next codeshare available, a couple of hours later. I had to request to be put back on the original flight.
If this happens, is it too cheeky/beyond the realms of possibilities of us asking to return a day later?
