Frankly, I would wait. Staying a day or two at even one stop makes the trip even more special.
COVID cases in Micronesia have been pretty few and if vaccination rates are still low, the introduction of visitors could be devastating, especially considering hospital beds are limited in many places. The RMI has had 0 reported cases of COVID from the last report I read and in most cases, Military & civilian contractors are required to quarantine 2 weeks in HNL (usually at the Hale) and two weeks on base at Kwajalein.
There seems to be some question if they will even board you currently with the rule in place for the RMI, the the first stop on the outward leg ( it used to be Johnston Atoll! ).
I spent 6 years in the former Trust Territories in the 70/80’s with the PC and been back several times. It’s worth seeing. You probably won’t take the flight twice, so do as much as you can do on the first one!
