For Holland America specifically, can the onboard credits from the Amex Platinum Cruise Privileges Program be applied to "Crew Appreciation" services charges in practice? The Amex terms say the credits cannot be applied to gratuities, but Holland America claims "Crew Appreciation" service charges are not "gratuities".
