friedablass the price changed a few times, i.e. it went up each time I asked. They always said I could take my chances and gamble that there'd be a room available for our arrival (around 9am resort time, which is 8am Maldives time), and likewise for our late checkout (6pm resort time), and honestly, I don't know what they'd do with us if rooms were not available, aside from hanging out in the bar, there's really nowhere to park guests waiting for a room, and a few staff mentioned they were at 70% occupancy while we were there, so I probably wasted some money, but, it's the same reason I don't take a chance on flight upgrade, I'd rather know for sure, and not have to worry. Anyway, this is what I was quoted:

Early Check-in : $1100, subject to 23.2% government tax and service charge
Late Check-out before 6PM : $1100, subject to 23.2% government tax and service charge
Late Check-out after 6PM: $2200, subject to 23.2% government tax and service charge
