Another five nights here last week and a few changes since I was there early September.
Leisure facilities - No longer need to be booked in advance.
Breakfast - Individual bottles of OJ and water have now been replaced with the large dispensers as per pre-covid. There seemed a slightly better range of bakery goods as well.
Housekeeping is still on request.
Icons and Association are still closed. Sky Bar is still open and the menu has significantly improved since my last stay with a better choice of main dishes.
Lounge still closed with the vouchers in operation. No mention on when the lounge will reopen but from speaking with a few of the FD staff I get the impression that it is staffing levels that are holding back the reopening of the bars and lounges. Rick Astley was at the Arena on Monday night and it was clear on Tuesday that staffing was having an effect at breakfast and housekeeping as the trolleys were still in the corridors till quite late in the day.
It was a good and rather non-eventful stay which felt the most "Normal" stay I've had since February 2020.
One noticeable addition to the local area is the opening of Atul Kochars new restaurant Masalchi in the new buildings opposite the hotel/arena which was very nice and for the area and the standing of Kochar extremely reasonably priced.

For some reason I have a soft spot for this hotel and it's probably my favourite London Hilton
