Qatar are not flying to NZ: they are codesharing on AirNZ or Qantas... so you would need to change planes, which would make it a regular transit, and hence the Australian testing rules would apply.
Still trying to find out about EK449, and if I need a test for the stop in KUL.
Just FYI, they are flying QR899 AKL-BNE-DOH 3 weekly (Tue Thu Sat), but that's definitely not favourable with the transit requirement at Brisbane
