I currently have some Plus Points which are expiring on January 31, 2022. I already have trips with confirmed upgrades by that time, so I won't be able to use the remaining Plus Points. I recall learning, perhaps here on the Forum, that some folks were able to get Plus Points extended for a short period, like 90 days. I called the 1K desk, but the agent I spoke with said she didn't know how to do this. She transferred me to the Mileage Plus desk, with the same result. That agent called her supervisor, but the only advice they could give me was to email the Premier 1K headquarters and request the extension. I've done that, but have yet to receive a response. Has anyone had success in getting their expiring Plus Points extended? And if so, what is the most effective way to make that request?
