Hilton Aspire is a no brainer card if you stay at least one night at a resort a year. If I know someone who is planning to stay at a Conrad, I will just tell them to apply for it.
Hyatt is more questionable and you have to work for it. People don't like to work for something that may or may not be beneficial to them. And it could change too right? This year it is 30 nights, next year could go back to 60 nights. I paid for Hilton Diamond with spent before Aspire was introduced (with the old Citi card). I paid for Ritz Plat with spent (Later changed to Marriott Titanium) with the Ritz card. Now I just put my non-cat spent on Chase Unlimited to used on CSR (1.5% x 1.5% minimum = 2.25% minimum) compare to 1% on a hotel card. The opp cost is quite big when it comes to $60k to $100k a year.
I do like Globalist.. mostly for the free parking on award stay. I just spend like $250 in parking last month for an award stay at Hyatt...
