stayed a few weekends ago at 8000 pts/night. Had parking waived as an Explorist. Don't know if they made a mistake, they're running a promotion, or if they do provide free parking for Explorists. I didn't complain.

The staff seemed friendly and attentive, however, the items I requested through the app never came. After about a day, I did text the hotel, through the number in the app, and they did respond saying sorry and someone would be bringing the items up. Those items still never came. I'm sure if I had called or went downstairs they would have fixed it, but I wasn't interested enough in follow through on this. A bit of a disappointment.

However, the hotel is in a nice area, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Not sure if there is anything "fun" in Valencia, but this isn't exactly a tourist city, so people know why they're coming here. Overall, the hotel was very boring, but in a positive way. It was clean, but otherwise nothing spectacular about it. Not as nice as a good Regency, Grand Hyatt, etc. but a nice change from a generic Hyatt Place scenery. For 8,000 pts, definitely worth it. I can easily see this place as a Cat 3.
