I would expect the airline to be extremely strict about the weight and dimensions of the carry-ons, because their business model relies on nickel and diming passengers for everything. But as long as your bag complies with the rules, you should be fine.

I wouldn't worry more about your checked bag with them than I would with any other airline. Just don't put anything valuable or irreplaceable in the checked bag.
