I have a Citi Bank Platinum credit card and decided to apply for their Premier card. My Esperian credit score is 776 & Transunion is over 800 with total debt of -$100 since I pay off the balance immediately. My new application was declined so I call the Citi credit Card office and spoke with a Manager as to the reason. I was told that I didn't carry enough debt for the available $52,000 credit line I currently have available. I use this card frequently but will be chopping it up after the last payment.
