When a customer ignores a norm, by not tipping, it tells the worker that the customer thinks her service was unsatisfactory. Her reaction is not about money. A decision to not tip her in the future would be nothing other than spite.
I think it’s fair to say the reaction of the person serving nachos at a bowling alley was at least partially driven by money lol
Theres nothing wrong with that but let’s not make this seem like something it’s not. People want to feel they are being fairly compensated for their work.
