I think I read a review about the hotel with a similar explanation as you on how to get to the MTR station. I haven't stayed at the Centric before, and obviously, COVID got in the same. I couldn't see for myself if it was as convenient as HR TST. I was under the impression that the MTR station to the Centric was about a block or two away rather than being next to the hotel.
