I just called the Platinum Service Line to cancel a regular (not Promo) award; he wanted to charge the cancellation fee.
I pushed back and told him that the policy to waive the cancellation fee had been re-extended as per
this link for trips up to 1 March 2022. He claimed not to be aware of this but agreed to "make an exception" for me.
I wonder how many people he has incorrectly charged over the past 18 months....
