I hate a connection that doesn’t allow me to be at the gate before boarding starts, so I probably would not book this. Having said that, BOS flights either arrive at the satellite gates which are connected underground to the terminal gates, or they arrive at the terminal gates.

Today the BGR flight came in at the satellite gates, and ATL flights departed from both the terminal gates and the satellite gates.

If you arrive/depart in the same area the walk between gates will be no more than 5 minutes. If you arrive at satellite and depart from a terminal gate (or vice versa) and are at the furthest points the walk is only 10 minutes maximum (and can be done faster). So this connection easily works if your flight is on time and you can get off quickly.
