You do not need to be retested if the itinerary requires an overnight connection because of limitations in flight availability.”

Since your overnight stop in Munich is voluntary, i.e. there are itineraries that would allow you to fly IST/AYT-MUC-SFO on November 18th without any overnight connection, the 3 days count backwards from your MUC-SFO flight on November 18th. So you’ll need to get tested no earlier than November 15th.

As a side note, ExpertFlyer doesn’t show any MUC-SFO flight leaving at 12:30 pm on November 18th, so you may want to check your schedule…
