I would love to try the LM as it's a bargain on points but I'm not going to pay for sea plane and do all that traveling just for 1 night.
Definitely not worth the price of the sea plane to LM just for 1 night - plus the additional time to check in for the sea plane flight, bus over to the other terminal, wait, etc. etc. When you make your reservations with the Sheraton, they will email you with a link to the latest covid protocols from the Maldivian government and request your flight details. they'll tell you which booth to go to as soon as you exit the secure area. You may have to wait a few minutes if there are other passengers. the boat ride is only 20-25 minutes. When you check in, let the front desk know what time you need to be at the airport. They will schedule your departing boat trip back.
