This year, with the one night quarantine, it DOES matter as each passenger in the taxi increases my odds of longer quarantine. I e-mailed the quarantine hotel and they confirmed the transport is NOT shared with other passengers. I'll have a print out of that e-mail in my hand luggage.
My confirmation page specially mentioned that the airport transfer is for 1 person. It also mentioned that the driver will wait for me at the arrival exit.
