I'm staying here two nights for New Year's Eve (FNC and Amex Plat FHR $400 off deal). Is there anything remarkable occurring at or near the hotel? I know Times Square will be a mess so I'll avoid that vicinity but I feel the hotel is still close enough to get the NYE vibe.
I stayed there years ago when it was London NYC and Gordon Ramsey had his restaurant there (the front desk boasted that it was the best room service in New York City). It will interesting to see the changes.
