Given that Vasu Raja (AA Chief Revenue Officer) recently publicly stated that widebodies on domestic routes are working out very well, I'd expect to see them continue until the TA and TP markets rebound. Not sure what that means for LAS or LAX (exPHL) frequencies though.

I booked those flights for lie-flat business (rather than recliner first) so I will be disappointed if they are swapped out. I'm guessing they will remain given how popular Hawaii has become and since summer is a major travel period for the islands.
At 3700 miles, I don't see DFW flights to HI going narrowbody. I imagine there's good cargo revenue that also justifies the widebody. I suppose they *could* do it on a 321NEO or XLR(when they are delivered), but it's a stretch. Did they ever operate HI on 757s from DFW?
