I flew into LAX on VS7 this afternoon and I was prepared for a long wait. The lines were reasonably long but were cleared very quickly. I think from getting to the TBIT immigration hall to the front of the queue was 25 minutes, then a good 5 minute grilling from the officer. Bags waiting then straight out. Interestingly there was no use (today anyway) of the machines and I didn't need to complete, nor asked for, the customs declaration. This is a first for me.

So in summary a surprisingly good experience! I hope you also get through quickly.
