I've never received a Ready to Fly offer (I fly from MPL, never ex-CDG), but usually have a checked bag anyways.

For my partner's flight last week, I asked at check-in and again at the 2F lounge if AF could issue my partner's boarding pass (it was less than 30 hrs before his departure, and I had his pass sanitaire and passport with me), but they refused. He had to wait 45 minutes in line just to get his boarding pass at MPL (no checked bag)...
