Miles get refunded immediately, during my last phone call the operator even asked me to check my account if the miles had been redeposited. The taxes are refunded on the credit card you used to pay them and that lasts a little longer. For me that was a couple of days only, but I have heard of people that had to wait longer than that.

But yes: you will get a full refund of miles and taxes.
