I've done the BA J with the new seats and the flights are better than AA's F when the coffins are used. For international flights BA has led the way in J seats and others are following. (Just did a QF J 2 weeks ago and their new seats are better than the coffins!)

As for 757s across the Atlantic - I'll pass on that one, thank you very much. It is about as desirable as putting DC-3s on the New York to Boston run.

In a lot of ways AA really is out of touch with the competition and are more than a day late and a dollar short. Someone really needs to get aggressive there and make some effort to return them to one of the best in the sky.
