I have a flight booking from FRA to MVD, connecting at Sao Paulo from Lufthansa to Latam. It's all on one ticket and I was able to select my Latam seats on the Lufthansa website.

Does anyone here know whether my luggage will be checked through to MVD or whether I have to collect it in Sao Paulo and re-check it given I transfer between airlines?
