Seeking some advice here...

I'm traveling to Italy for Christmas next month. We will be staying at the Four Seasons Firenze for the first few nights before heading down to Rome for the final days before Christmas.

I've currently got the unopened W booked from 12/17 - 12/26. They have already seemingly delayed the opening several times so I am a bit worried if it will even be open for my stay. Unfortunately the rates are nearly unbeatable for a cash stay. (roughly $450 per night w/ free breakfast without status even.) -- meanwhile they want 85k redemption in points, hah!

All that said my question is what hotel in Rome really puts on the best Christmas show? (think decorations, theme, just the whole Christmas vibe). I had originally booked the St. Regis and imagine it is one of the top spots for that...but it's just... pricey and I don't feel like they are always our style.
