I have a similar situation on Wednesday - connecting off of the VS7 to Alaska (T6) with 2h55m between flights - it was under 2 hours until the recent schedule change which helped me for a change. I am sitting in 10A on the 787 to be first off, giving me every chance. If I miss the conx, I have a 5 hour wait for the next flight or a 'walk of shame' to Avis to drive instead.
I presume that VS are still arriving into TBIT, so missing the serenity of T2 immigration. I presume 2pm is quieter than 5pm, but who knows these days...

Ah, didn't realise it wasn't going into T2 any more, that really does complicate things and was the reason I went for such a short connection.
I was originally supposed to be on VS7 but
this thread will explain what happened. I would be much happier with 2hr 55. It's a DL points redemption so 27k gone if we miss it.
45min bag check limit so have to be in T2 bag drop by 20.55. If arriving into TBIT at 8.00 I think may need a very very fair wind.
