I’m excited that because my nearest megamall is being mostly demolished, a huge Deli that was in the mall is moving back into the neighborhood. Thankfully, the Costco, See’s Candies and public library are staying open.
While the new huge building is only half open, I’m excited to try some fresh NY style bagels, and they have a menu with seemingly hundreds of hot items. My oldest daughter grabbed some food there last week, and was amazed at their bakery department.

I am guessing that you are one of "those people" who doesn't like the idea of a donut used as a bun for a hamburger either. Sometimes you have to color outside of the lines!
I like odd food combinations. I just find the bacon on top of a maple donut didn’t appeal to me. I think I’d go for chocolate dipped bacon.
