Just stayed there Friday-Sunday weekend. It is becoming a Curio Collection now but all the logos are still Waldorf.
Diamond food credit becomes $24 from $50. So this is only good for one entree from Twenty6. No wonder why they changed the name or brand....
I used my Amex annual award night and got an upgrade to a Poolside room. The hotel is beautiful and historical. So don't expect modern finish inside the room. Many pools in the hotel and they are all great with a warm mini pool nearby.
I tried both Adobe Grill and Twenty6 for dinner: Adobe is Mexican food and it has a great overview. It also has a live music show so that is nice. But the food is OK for the price. Maybe I am not a huge fan for Mexican food but I think food quality is similar to Chili's...Twenty6 is American food and it is fine for the price. Breakfast is great from Twenty6. Both restaurants have outside seating.
Service: Front desk people are very professional and helpful. Bellman is great too. But the service people who deliver things(like water and bath supplies) are random in service quality. Usually you would expect a 30mins delivery after you request it. But here you may see 1 hour or two hour delivery window for that. So my feeling is mixed on service.
Overall, a lovely and beautiful hotel for a winter getaway. It is a good place to burn your resort credit and annual free night award.
