It sounds like maybe it's true, maybe Marriott is being ambiguous at best or deceptive at worst... but it sure would be nice to know the exact wording of the email or to see a picture of it somehow. Not trying to attack but your responses frankly sounded weirdly cagey and evasive rather than candid and helpful. A lot of folks have a legitimate interest in trying to figure out what Marriott's doing.
