Depends on your policy amount - check with your insurer. AXA usually should have it online and available.. They could cover the price difference of Radisson and the new similar hotel you ended up staying, plus logistics costs (I can imagine difference in MLE-to-hotel shuttle differences as well).
From Radisson you should ask back your points of course, but if you would plan revisiting, I would even suggest that they just rebook you to some other time in the future, still with points, as the points room availability there is limited.
