I've applied for the SW Biz Card yesterday and I received an email with the following message. I kept checking the application status on the automated line but it says it cannot find any applications with my SSN. I did receive credit reports pulling notifications from the credit companies. The email says "We have received your request for a Chase credit card. We'll let you know our decision as soon as possible"
We just had a similar situation. We received the email immediately after applying, then, nothing...There was no sign of the application on Chase.com online, and nothing came in the mail. When we called in, the rep said she needed to verify the SS number (sole proprietorship), and approved the card immediately. So, with this as a data point, I'd say to call in.
