Edit to add: I just reread the BB agreement and the yearly limit of $100K is for all accounts. Therefore, if you deposit $5000/mo for 12 months x 2, you will exceed that amount by $20K and therefore be denied further deposits for the rest of the card's year.

Now that I think about it, that is probably what has happened here.

This is a good catch and your point is well taken as another reason one could not add additional monies to an account.
