I got my "official" NZ vaccination record (typed by hand) by email in ~10 days after applying on-line. Was sufficient for my AU GP practice to upload into the AU immunisation register AIR.

++++++++++++++

Should have been completed months ago. Vax passports or what ever you want to call it have been is use in other places in the world for months.
Even AU states have got them. {NSW better than Vic's) (AU almost as slow as Kiwiland in rolling out jabs and opening to the world)

(should be federal and not state, but states have responsibility for hospitals, but not medicare)

Needs to be internationally comparable. If NZ is reinventing a square wheel, passengers will need to upload other apps for international travel
AU ICVC International COVID-19 vaccination certificates

Also- once your vaccination is added to the AIR, it’s a super easy two click endeavour to sync your vaccination with both the NSW and the VIC app. Once at a venue, you scan the QR code and it automatically also provided prove of vaccination to the venue/security guard/bouncer if there is one (not only at pubs- saw a line outside DJs on our way too with the same). Must say- very well done Aussie government. I would have never thought I’d say this but NZ is light years behind right now.
