Might seem like a dumb question but I’ve tried to call Thai help desks in other business realms (banking, internet, etc) and knowing how to speak Thai was pretty much a necessity. Thanks.
guess it is not a disadvantage, if you speak Thai while calling....as it is usually no disadvantage to speak any other language than your native resp. English.
But certainly it is also possible to address your issue in English and it helps if you talk slowly and in an easily understandable English like everywhere outside countries, where English is the native or one of the native languages...
