Avios account locked - can’t get in

Yesterday I booked a flight, with part Avios, part cash that didn’t go through. I was charged around £40. This is still pending.

I have tried to log into my Avios account, couldn’t get in. I tried to reset the password about ten times, each time I get this message “ You have attempted to log in with the wrong details too many times and your account is now locked. Please try again with the correct log in details in 15 minutes or contact us if the problem persists.”

Even after saving the password to my keychain. Still!

I phoned AerClub and was directed to email their AerClub assist to get this changed. I have heard nothing as of yet.

I have explained the issue I have in booking a flight and receiving no confirmation email.

I am now concerned that my account has been deleted or blocked. I can’t seem to find any way to rectify this issue? There is no phone number for Aer Lingus Avios bookings? I just want to book a flight!
