Checked in for another single night stay, and have been quite satisfied so far.
Despite the agent at check in still needing to ask if I've been here before (yes, about 20 times), he was more engaging and invested in our preferences than I've previously experienced here. He asked for a general room preference (high floor, low floor, close/far from lobby, which direction we wanted to face), and we got an upgrade to a balcony overlooking golf course. Pretty certain this is the first time I've ever had a balcony here.
It seems they've done away with the parking fee (yay!) But they now have a $32 resort fee (ugh). While this is hardly a true "resort", TBH I'd rather pay a $32 resort fee that included parking than a $20 parking fee (because, psychology).
Fortunately my Government rate eliminates said fee altogether, so I was happy about that.
Sea-Root restaurant and the bar seem to be in full swing, along with the coffee shop. All they need to do now is get the sports bar back open and we'll be back to pre-pandemic glory days (except better because of the reno).
Recent stays have been ~7/10 but this one is definately more like 9/10 for me.
